| UNDERSTANDING LAWYERS & CHANGE Lawyers are taught to advise. They rationally consider a problem, use their expertise to find the answer and advocate for a solution. If you’re trying to lead change in a complex human system, this approach rarely works and few human systems are as complex as lawyer systems. In this engaging workshop, Anthony will draw on your experience of working with lawyers in change initiatives and explore why they rarely work. He will also draw on his extensive career (and fair share of failures) working with lawyers and lawyer systems in adaptive work and developing capability in adaptive leadership.
Anthony doesn’t profess to have the entire solution to this challenge, but will share the key things he has learned over the last 20 years working in and with lawyer systems. He will also share why he feels the continued success of the legal profession depends on embracing its humanity. Recording now available in the Members Portal |
